Two language currents braiding into one meaning — the Transcreator, illustrated
The problem

Ordinary translation tools are literal and flat. Street slang comes out sterile, idioms come out wrong. A photo of a restaurant menu or a screenshot often just doesn't work at all.

The approach

So I built a tool that looks at what it's given, then decides how to handle it.

01

Takes entries in Hebrew or English with no need to set language

02

Auto-detects a quick menu vs. a longer letter or article

03

Handles any input: typed text, a webpage, a video, a photo

04

Matches tone, formal stays formal, slang stays slang

05

Translates the meaning, which is not always the same as the literal words

06

Offers a deeper, more nuanced pass afterward on request

The part I love

It works out what it's looking at, then handles anything you throw at it

Two things make this feel like a real product, not a chatbot:

First, it classifies what it's given: a menu gets a clean answer, a longer letter gets more nuance. Second, it isn't limited to typed text: it can handle photo, video and handwriting.

The outcome
5 formats
text, webpages, video, handwriting or photos
1000s
of fast, accurate translations
Daily use
for real bilingual life

It's become the thing I actually reach for day to day. A menu photo, a video, or a message that needs to land right in the other language.

A live demo would show this off best. Happy to walk through it.
