The problem

A major supermarket chain charged me a fee I hadn't agreed to, and refused to reverse it. It's a classic standoff: too small to be worth a lawyer, but big companies count on that. Most people just give up and pay.

The approach

The amount didn't justify hiring a lawyer, so I built one.

01

Fed the supermarket's full terms into an AI assistant I could question live

02

Transcribed the Hebrew customer-service calls into text I could search and quote

03

Cross-checked calls and contract against Israeli consumer law for the breach

04

Drafted the small-claims filing itself, turning weeks of research into minutes

05

Built to never guess or hallucinate

The part I love

Stopping the AI being my cheerleader

AI tends to be sycophantic. That's not what you need from your lawyer. I built in multiple safeguards to keep the advice realistic and avoid costly mistakes.

The outcome
10x the dispute
recovered in the settlement, on a claim the company had dismissed outright
One afternoon
to build the assistant that read the contract, the transcripts and the law
10 minutes
to transcribe hours of calls, find the contradiction and draft the claim

The supermarket fought back, but the judge saw through it. He proposed a settlement, and they eventually agreed.

This was built for a single real dispute, but continues to provide useful advice. Happy to talk through exactly how it was put together.
